A table may seem like it is only a piece of furniture with a very basic function, but this item has more meaning and substance than just what it was made to do. The most important parts of the table are not the structural pieces, but the people that are sitting around it. The new series which begins on Sunday the 17th helps us identify the Lord’s table in different aspects of people’s lives. In this way, we seek to learn about the people who make up these tables, whether they are different from us, spiritually or mentally broken, in the midst of chaos, or just simply sharing an important meal. We do this by also remembering that just like a table, God is the one who holds us together.
